Tiny models trained for narrow tasks can perform excellently when paired with a strong self-improving recursive flywheel

Training tiny models for special purpose use cases works so incredibly well if you have a great self improving recursive flywheel.

Coding agents should read the shared AGENTS.md convention; insisting on a tool-specific CLAUDE.md creates split-brain problems across a team.

I’m thinking about banning Claude code at Shopify until they change their mind and read AGENTS.md and .agents/skills etc. Insisting on only reading CLAUDE.md sometimes leads to split brain problems when different team members use different tools. Just unnecessary.

Requiring two parallel agent instruction files in a monorepo is a complexity tax that leaves some developers working with a lobotomised agent.

With thousands of developed in a mono repo, it just does happen that one directory is missing one of the two files and this means that a subset of devs work with lobotomy. We fix this with automation but it’s a stupid complexity tax that shouldn’t have to be paid.

Customising an operating system by asking an agent replaces esoteric config syntax as the way customisation actually works.

Now you can have a quake style console in your operating system. Except with an infinitely patient agent to help you customize it instead of esoteric variable names and slash commands like in the 90s

You can now simply ask for the desktop tools you want and have them built, instead of finding or writing them yourself.

You can literally just wish for the tools you want now. Omarchy has every skill to make them. It’s magical.
