    we have way too many people worrying about the minutia who just don't even exercise on a consistent basis or they don't sleep well on a consistent basis or they don't manage their psychological stress well or they try to be perfect with their nutrition then they fall off the deep end and what I'm saying is like no like be imperfect but be consistent with what you do

    no no no one bad night of sleep doesn't do that sleep is a cumulative effect just like if you have a week's long worth a bad sleep but then you sleep 12 hours on the weekend you're not making up that sleep debt it's more about what you're doing time over time

    for muscular hypertrophy you need to get close to failure uh but you probably don't need to train to failure to maximize hypertrophy but you got to get pretty close you can be stronger but to maximize strength you're probably better off not touching failure very often
