Huang would hire the graduate who is expert at using AI over the one who is not, in any field. Hashimoto says effective use of these tools requires domain expertise, and that the tool is an assistant rather than a replacement for the engineer. If the second is right, "expert at using AI" is not a quality a graduate can have separately from being expert at something.
