   Our readingConfidence in a memory is not evidence of its accuracy, and our sense of how our own memory works is systematically wrong.

   Their wordsAnd sometimes confidence, high confidence doesn't necessarily mean high accuracy. And I think part of the reason we're fooled is usually, you know, the more you see something, the better you'll remember it, just like the Apple logo. But that's not always the case.
