Their wordsInstead of trying to reach the depths where no real music lives, or not much at all, a sub should reinforce the bass that is actually in the recording and do so without making its presence known. It should never add bloat or artificial bass, but rather enhance what is there so we can hear it and even feel it.

Our readingSubwoofer extension down to 15-18 Hz is marketing fluff that brings no benefit for music.
Their wordsThere are subs that are very well known for their quality and performance, and these are usually marketed as going so low and deep, even down to 15 Hz in some cases. That is all marketing fluff IMO, as I have never, ever heard any benefit from any sub for music that goes down to 15-18 Hz.

Our readingNo piece of audio gear is the best for everyone, because what is best depends on the listener
Their wordsI do not say "best" as that is a bad word to use for describing audio gear as best to you may not be to me, and vice versa. There is no such thing as best for all.

Their wordsYou can spend more on an integrated amp in the ultra-high-end price range, but I do not feel you will necessarily get "better" sound-just something different.

Their wordsI have always been of the belief, and still have this belief, that audio should be judged by the ear.

Our readingThe listening room and system setup matter more to sound quality than any individual piece of gear.
Their wordsYes, the room and setup will matter more than any measurement, amp, DAC or piece of gear you add later.
