Housing Build faster, fewer rules
Said
The answer to the housing market is to build at full pace, cutting rules, shortening objection and appeal procedures and stopping extra municipal requirements.
Our translation If together we really want to free up the housing market and make sure people can buy a home of their own, one of the finest ways to work on your financial independence, then the solution is: build at full pace. For that we must first of all scrap a good number of rules and make sure that objection and appeal procedures become considerably shorter, that there are fewer possibilities for objection, that municipalities do not keep setting extra requirements on top of legal and public standards, and so on.

Asylum Stricter, within EU law
Said
The coalition agreement carries a very strict asylum chapter that limits migration and gives those allowed to stay proper reception.
Our translation It is a very strict asylum chapter, to make sure that we limit migration and receive those who are allowed to stay here in a good way.

Ukraine Keep arming Ukraine
Said
The Netherlands should keep supporting Ukraine in full, other countries should too, and Ukraine should get support for as long as it is needed.
Our translation I want the Netherlands to keep doing that in full and other countries to do that. I want Ukraine to be able to keep receiving support for as long as that is needed.
Israel Restrict trade or arms
Said
The VVD supports a trade ban on goods from illegal Israeli settlements, preferably agreed at EU level, while opposing arms steps beyond the existing near-total embargo.
Our translation We want, with what I think is a majority of the House, to discourage the illegal settlements. We support none of that. It stands in the way of a two-state solution, which the VVD has long been in favour of. So we are very much in favour of a trade ban, and preferably in a way that exerts the pressure you want.
