Caste census Count caste in the census
Said
He wants a caste count and said the government's plan for it had no timeline, no debate in Parliament and did not learn from the states' caste surveys.
“न ठोस रूपरेखा, न समयबद्ध योजना, न संसद में चर्चा, और न ही जनता से संवाद। दूसरे राज्यों की सफल जाति जनगणनाओं की रणनीति से सीखने की कोई इच्छा भी नहीं।”
Our translation No concrete outline, no time-bound plan, no discussion in Parliament, and no dialogue with the public either. Not even any wish to learn from the strategy of the successful caste censuses of other states.

Waqf law Against the Waqf Act
Said
He opposed the Waqf (Amendment) Bill as an attack on Muslims' personal laws and property rights and on the Constitution.
“The Waqf (Amendment) Bill is a weapon aimed at marginalising Muslims and usurping their personal laws and property rights. This attack on the Constitution by the RSS, BJP and their allies is aimed at Muslims today but sets a precedent to target other communities in the future.”
